Was visiting Toronto last weekend and had not been to the Black Eagle for a few years. Wow, what a nice change. At the rear of the first floor is a back room or dark room that was packed both Friday and Saturday nights. Lots of diversity in age and race and types so there was something for everyone. It was fun years ago but now the staff act like sex police. They also let all the crackheads in now, when they used to stop them. I had my beer stolen and when I mentioned it to the bartender on duty, he was rude and told me to get lost. Most of the guys are unattractive now too, and it's such a dead bar that any touching attracts attention.
