This place is heavily policed. Not the best place for cruising. I hated it.

It's been a cruising area for years and years now, even more when the park was still there (it's now a construction area). But take care, you'll mostly end up paying for any guys you pick up there (voluntary or by force). But if you're so desperate to hire for sex then this is the place for you I guess.

This is true. I was there yesterday and at least two guys were cruising me. Not my types so nothing happened, but my Egyptian friends say it has become a good cruising place.

Was right outside KFC and noticed many guys sitting on top of the fence that surrounds the whole square. Some of them started going around me like sharks and one came up to me to chat me up and he had a HUGE package that he would occasionally rub. I wasn't able to communicate with the guy and eventually my boyfriend came out from the KFC and we left. A little frustrating for me!

The most famous square in Cairo. Near KFC is best. There are many policemen so it is a place only to meet gays, especially Thursdays.
