Osceola National Forest - Olustee Beach Recreation Area


Category: Cruisy toilet, Cruisy park Description: Self pay entrance fee of $3. Large bathrooms that have showers in the public bathroom area. The dressing area is in clear view of it all. Very private setting. Shower door lock is broken and if circumstances are right, the door can be pushed open or, just sit a watch through the wide gaps in the shower enclosure. The forest also has hiking trails.

Directions: Follow US 90 east from Lake City to Olustee. Turn left at the railroad depot onto FR 231 and cross the tracks. Continue until this short road ends at the gate to the recreation area. Stop and pay the fee (except on fee-free weekends!). Drive all the way to the far end of the parking lot. The trailhead is near the rear of the recreation area.
