This gym is permanently closed. The next nearest cruisy LA/Esporta gym is at Chandler & 48th St.

There is definitely a steam room next to the pool. They have both a dry sauna and a wet steam room there. I have been to this LA Fitness a thousand times, and it has a great steam room. It is dark inside and has a foggy window where you can see anyone approaching in time to cover up.

Gym doesn't have a steam room. The dry sauna has hot young straight men, but I've never witnessed any hint of cruising.
LA Fitness does not seem to distinguish between steam rooms and wet and dry saunas on their web site. The web page for this location indicates they have a "Sauna" but unfortunately does not go into greater detail. Thanks for the clarification. ~ Editor

I go there often and occasionally get hot action. The steam room is a nearly perfect setup for fooling around. Plenty of warning if someone is coming in. The showers and dry sauna can be hot, too.

Was here on Monday night. Lots of hot straight eye candy in the sauna but no action.

Checked it out, not a bad setup. Dry and Steam sauna co-ed in the pool area. Shorts required, showers don't have curtains. Most people seemed to workout and go.
Machines are set up so you have a good view of the room. Was pretty slow, good because if you find someone you have time to play. Bad 'cause it's gonna be a wait. Either way I will be back. It's clean and sometimes I just need the steam in this dry climate.

Sucked a 8" yesterday in the sauna and there are plenty of young studs from ASU looking for trouble. Just make sure you get a towel and show your family jewels and see if they respond..Many will look and some will get excited.
Watch for the door and the design of the place will give you plenty of warning for intrusion. Look at the studs in the eyes and you will always get lucky.
