Equinox Palo Alto Gym

The steam room. Naturally, it's hit or miss. They expel people who are brazen or bothersome; only the discreet survive.

Nonetheless, about one out of three times I happen to use the steam room, a guy will be hanging around looking and it will be possible to connect for a little showing off or j/o. For sucking, an occasional guy will want to move to a certain large bathroom stall that has minimal visibility to everyone's feet.

Best times are the gym's non-busy times: weekdays before about about 4 pm or after about 8 pm, and weekend afternoons. The gym's busy times will mean non-stop interruptions by non-cruisers. Any cruising at that point consists of eye contact and taking it off-site.

With COVID going, this place closes and re-opens by government whim. It's currently open – but no steam room. Depopulated but still some eye candy, hot guys around.

This steam room is "nothing to write home about." The same few lurkers lurk in this place for hours, each day or week at their special time. Their lurking stops what might happen, the more so as they are not attractive and had much better spend the time on the gym floor, working out.

As an older bottom who does work out, I get lucky here sometimes. But 1) not often, 2) usually with gym visitors and when I was not expecting it, and 3) usually having to move the action off-site.

Having emphasized how hit-or-miss and dull this place can be, I'll share a few "lucky" times for readers to wank to.

The greatest suck-off of my life was a 20s, mostly-straight, German-Turkish guy whom I met here about a year ago. He wasn't aggressive until I got him back at my house, and he detected my submission to him. He ground his large hard dick and crotch into my face, and his firm legs and butt as well. Regardless of the cruising, this is a worthwhile (if expensive) gym: well equipped and maintained, clean, lots of hot people around, helpful floor trainers, fun, and about 25% gay men. You can do yourself some good here — and then occasionally/maybe get jiggy in the steam room.

My one criticism would be that guys in the locker room do a lot of covering up. But the situation isn't helped by the gay dudes who stare way too obviously.

A certain unattractive, 30-something Asian guy spends hours — yes, literally hours — in the men's locker room trying to check out the hot guys. In the process, he makes them all edgy and wanting to cover up. On occasion, I've done a lengthy complete workout, and he was in there the whole time, staring while barely pretending to dress or undress.
