With the weather warming up, last week I decided to drive through around 10.30 pm to see if anyone was cruising or night fishing. I'd had never been out there after dark before.

There was only one vehicle I could see. A guy was fishing about midway down the levee. I stopped to ask him if he was having any luck. I checked out this place again last week for the first time in several months. The gate is now open since hunting season is underway. I was there about twenty minutes when I noticed a hunter coming out of the woods. I didn't think much about since this is common and nearly all of them are there to hunt and nothing else. I stopped by this place for the first time this week. It was early afternoon on a Thursday and there was no action. However, this place is perfect for cruising. Lots of wide open space and surrounding woods for privacy.

Just not sure when the peak cruising times are. Perhaps weekends? After dark?

This park had a raid on it a few weeks ago. Seems some jealous wives were mad because their husband were spending some time there at the park than with them so they raised a big fuss with the police and they went and did a sting. They are still watching this park so be careful.

Police are out here a lot harassing people and giving citations. They are out around the clock in patrol cars and unmarked cars with dark tinted windows.
