There is a small parking lot just of the off ramp on Burbank. Walk down the levy and check out the bushes. Further down the trail you will see a tunnel that goes under Burbank. I'd never cruised this area before. A recent brush fire has obliterated all of the undergrowth in the Burbank Blvd/Woodley Avenue section. Unfortunate. Action will clearly move elsewhere. Best not to post where, so the pigs and city can't waste more tax money on useless 50s-era sting operations and fucking up natural adult sex encounters. Public sex is not going away any time soon. As I was leaving the park after dark (hadn't seen a soul there), 2 cops with flashlights approached and ticketed me. The Van Nuys courts are involved because the prosecutor treated me with disdain and stated that I was one of the regular guys that they are trying to stop from being in the park. My friend got a ticket just yesterday by 3 undercover vice (1 male, 2 females) jogging in regular outfits. They told him the park closed at sunset, when it was still daylight around 6:30 pm. Seems to be some police activity centered around the small lot at the 405 and Burbank. I'd sometimes stop to get some head, but the last few times I noticed the same two "scruffy" guys climb up the embankment, share a few words, then separate and head back down. They were down the hill on the trail and then up on the side road from before sunset until about 10 pm when they finally annouced they were LAPD and were taking a guy out in handcuffs and telling everybody to clear out. At one point a police helicopter even flew over and was shining a spot light down over the area.

Most cruisers park in the small parking lot at the northwest corner of I-405 and Burbank Blvd. and then walk down on the trails for action. I have had some good action here. Not anywhere near as well-populated as it used to be and there are a few homeless hanging around. It can be very hot and very disappointing too. Just depends, like anywhere else.
