M Report	Posted Aug 06 2022: Heads Up! Online police reports shows there have been arrests for indecent exposure in this area, and word of mouth is that the cops come random afternoons. So, nudity is not recommended unless you are way hidden in the desert off the main roads with plenty of time to spot any vehicle approaching. Personally, I've never seen the cops here. And I've spent the night on the west side of Worsley over a dozen times this summer. But I remain very careful and discreet. Cruising in the area is fairly rare nowadays, a fraction of what it once was. However, there is another unobstructed dirt road on the east side of Worsley, just north of the former main cruising area, and I've seen the random cruiser here during the day. In the late mornings, water district pick-up trucks and cleanup crews may appear in the area, although seldom. These workers have come upon me buck ass naked – I was far away from the main roads – and they didn't seem to bat an eye! And they did not call the cops either, for what it's worth. Public utilities and the DHS will prosecute to fullest extent of the law, and they're not messing around. The dirt road lies at the very end of a sand embankment along side the pavement, and the road sneaks into a cruising area and back out to Highway 62. There are no trespassing signs posted, but rarely enforced. It's a smaller area than before, but still accessible to non-four-wheel-drive vehicles. We'll see how long this one lone entrance remains open. Edited on 06/29/22

They were Riverside County Sheriff's vans! I turned around an backed out immediately. Apparently the cops were not in the vehicles, but were down in the parking lot or the bushes focused on the people who were there rather than individuals who were entering the parking area. Essentially, it's become an outdoor sex club like the ones currently closed in nearby Palm Springs. But with more guys walking around naked too close to the road, and with as many as a couple dozen vehicles parked on the trails on both side of Worsley on warm afternoons and evenings – including on the west side of the street, where a large "No Trespassing" sign threatening fines and jail time is posted – it's no wonder the cops are monitoring the area. While I personally witnessed the cops driving past shining spotlights into the brush on a couple of nights last summer, my luck nearly ran out on Friday, January 15, at about 1:30 am, when two police cars rolled into the east-side parking area with spotlights on, catching a number of guys off-guard in their cars or screwing around near the lot. I had just repaired to one of the makeshift, old mattress-appointed "forts" farther down the wash, just beyond the cops' sights and lights, and abandoned my hot trick mid-plow to run deeper into brush with a few others. The raid, or whatever it was, lasted more than forty-five minutes – with the police shouting about "needles" and possibly citing a few guys for breaking curfew and who knows what else. I hated that my vehicle was parked in the hot zone during all this, where the cops easily could have noted and/or run the plate, but also grateful that I was far enough back in the wash that they'd probably never find me and the others who scrambled back there without a helicopter assist. Made sure the cops left and were way down the road before stumbling over the rocks back to my car and driving out of there with only my parking lights on. Not sure if this is or will become a regular thing, but I did read on another cruising site that a similar police visit with possible arrests took place here the night before Thanksgiving. Holiday weekends bring more guys out to to desert looking for action, so do be careful while having fun here, men. Also, be aware that the Skyborne housing development south of here near the Pierson Road intersection reportedly will be tripling in size over the next couple years, which will bring more regular through traffic on Worsley – and, most likely, an increase in "Mrs. Kravitz" reports and police presence. Don't be put off, it's still quite busy although not consistently. The further in you go on foot the lower the chance you’ll run into law enforcement. Most guys still hang in their cars in the very small parking area, which makes you more obvious. Still one of the only areas in the Coachella Valley where you can walk around nude, day and night, with a very low chance of being bothered. And still such a beautiful area. I've walked around totally naked except for sneakers — the ground is uneven and rocky — and have played a bit, and haven't seen a single sign or had trouble of any kind. However, a lot of guys are staying away since the floods washed most of the roads away. The weather is glorious, the landscape is rugged but beautiful, the view of the mountains is breathtaking — you really need to get out of your cars and walk, guys. Car cruising seems so counterintuitive here. Also, lat 33.9904 and lon -116.5724 are the coordinates for the area that I think are correct (2 miles north up Worsley from the intersection with Pierson), but it's an area that covers miles so there might be other cruising areas. Better if you have a truck and not a low car. I parked along the road and soon a guy stopped over and waved and walked into the bush near the boulders. Easy peasy. Stopped again a few days later in the evening after dark, cars parked on the side of the road, again no trouble connecting. Go about a mile from 62 to where the stream goes under the road. Just before, there is a little used dirt road that will take you along the stream. It will dead-end. If you want to get naked there are plenty of gullies and bushes and trees behind which one can hide. If you go down Worsely to where the creek goes under, or over, the road and then go to the east side off the road, it can get a bit active there, too. It's not a good thing. Some guys will drive the dirt roads in circles for hours and never set foot outside their vehicles, while one or two nasty-looking cum-dump regulars will beat a path through the creosote bushes 'Lord of the Flies'-style on the rare occasions when new meat appears by the creek. One afternoon I watched a drunk, mumbling middle-aged nudist retreat to his pickup truck and shout 'stalker!' at anyone who walked within fifty yards of him. Two notes of caution: straight, non-cruising rednecks sometimes use this area for rifle practice (spent shell casings are as common as used condoms) and a major new housing development along Worsley Road about a mile south have increased regular through-traffic and police patrols. Also, some rural homeowners have complained to the Desert Hot Springs city council about 'strange activities' in the area.

But after several visits during peak commuting hours on different days of the week, I've concluded that this spot -- save for the sweltering afternoon temperatures -- is not hot. Aside from the hardcore dirtbike and 4x4 crowd drawn to the unpaved trails and rednecks who like to fire rifles (spent shell casings outnumber used condoms 10 to 1), there is very little traffic of any kind at this location. The most action I saw here was on a Saturday afternoon when two unattractive guys driving expensive cars were prowling the brush nude.
