Great place. They are not too overbearing about feeding the video machines but they do require and enforce it. The rooms are plenty big for some group action. My partner and I went here when we were in the area in July. The place is lit up with fluorescent tubes like a damn office, which kind of kills any sensual feel. No booths have gloryholes; this is strictly a follow-someone-into-their-booth kind of place.

We didn't like the atmosphere, though the clerk in the front, a tall Black man, was super-friendly and welcomed us when we walked in. That seemed kind of unusual for a video arcade, and was a plus.

Too bad they can't or don't dim the lights in the booth area to create a more intriguing vibe.

This place is much better as of late. It seems the cranky help is gone and they now have a couple of women working the front desk. They pretty much leave you alone although once in a while will come through asking you to drop money. Nothing like the threats that the previous clerks used to use. It's still hit or miss as far as hotness and age go.

Cruisers should boycott this place. The bald cashier is a pest and so is the short old man (possibly owner) who bothers everyone in the halls to "drop money." When people are in the booths they are in fact dropping money, so I don't know what the problem is.

Hidden Joy is a much better option, with much friendlier staff and the booths are more discreet anyways.

Proceed with caution. Several of the employees are on power trips and think their minimum wage position gives them permission to harass customers. I agree about the bald headed asshole. It depends on who's working. There are three guys who run the place; two of them are cool, but the one with the bald head is an asshole who bothers everyone to "drop money." If you see this guy when you show up, walk out. These owners need to get the message: If they want money dropping in the booths, don't harass the patrons.

Good action here, but do not stand around or occupy a booth without putting in money . Best late morning to 5 pm. Very mixed crowd of all ages. Some straight couples come there and use the booths. Lots of off street parking behind the building. Gigantic booths and a good selection of videos to view.

This place could actually be good, but I can understand why management gets upset. I went there today and there were guys standing behind many of the doors not putting money in, just standing there waiting. Don't go at night. There is a guy who works there who is annoying. He sets up a chair in back and harasses you into leaving. His favorite line is "you should be dropping". I visited Palm Springs for the first time as a part of a business trip and I went to this store three nights in a row. The store has alot of potential with its arcade setup but the locals ruin it for any straight guys or out of towners who may visit for a quick thing. Each night I walked in you could just sense that you were "New Meat." Although most stores have daily regulars and queens that line the halls and cock block, this store seems to have an over abundance of them. This bookstore is not usually as quick to pay off as Hidden Joy but at least has no admission charge, a tolerable restroom for cleanup after the deed, and plenty of discreet parking behind the store, important for the occasional hot straight guy who doesn't want his license plate seen by small-town neighbors.
