So glad to see that cruising on Buena Vista Hill is back with a vengeance. This is probably the hottest place to cruise outdoors in the San Francisco Bay Area. One caveat, though, it's a hill full of trees and it gets very dark at night so if you're going to cruise in the evening have a flashlight if you don't know the lay of the land. Also, most of the action takes place on the wooden walkway facing east and by the tennis courts, so if you're going to cruise in the dark, better get familiar with the hill to know your way between those spots.

The crowd tends to be young and middle aged, most guys live nearby and aren't sketchy, but since this is San Francisco – the capital of homeless druggies and other undesirables – use your head even when you're giving or getting head.

This place has come back to life since COVID. Safer than indoor hookups. It's outdoors and most guys are wearing masks except when there's a dick in their mouth. Mostly respectful guys with good attitudes and good energy.

Just go up the steps on Buena Vista Avenue East across the street from Park Hill Condominium to the intersection with the boardwalk and go left or right. Best time is just around dusk to 10 or 11. Busiest on warm full moon nights.

There are two main cruising areas. The first is on the southern side of the park (nearest to the Castro) and there is a stairway that leads up to the park across from an old folks' home on the other side of the street. Heads Up!

This is one of SF's greatest places to cruise at almost any hour of the day. If you cruise for a while, you may find someone of your dreams. However, SF Police do random check ups especially between 2 and 4 am. Mostly they're there to harass the homeless.
