Old-fashioned cruising here. Walk around, touch your crotch casually, notice whether he's doing likewise or if he's trying to avoid you, make eye contact, say hi, ask what he's into, find a semi-hidden spot, get to it.

Misdemeanor charges against four men as part of the 17-month sting operation at a toilet in Columbus Park, across Taylor Street from the Guadalupe River Park, were dismissed Friday, June 17 as "selective discriminatory enforcement in violation of the suspects' equal protection rights."

This follows the recent Long Beach case where similar charges from a sting operation were disallowed by a California court.

The latest development from July is the planned filing of a class-action lawsuit on behalf of the nineteen men whose cases were dismissed, once the record of the arrests are expunged.

Stay away from the bathrooms if you are going to play. Trails are not good any longer, with the drought river monitors are walking the trails and photographing the river and 'trespassers.'

Take it up on the other side of the Hedding Bridge or below the Taylor Bridge.

Drug dealing and drinking have drawn complaints and cops. There is also a private patrol in a Honda driving the bike paths.

Unfortunately thoughtless folks have ruined it for all. Pick up after yourself and be very DL.

I was going from the beach to the airport for a flight home. Then cops showed up and accused us of cruising, and said they'll arrest us unless we give them information. My friend said things, I didn't. They said that they're looking out for information: cruisers' names, their times, their habits, their descriptions, exact cruising spots.

This place is dangerous now, even if you're just hanging out with friends. My friend believes that they may have set cameras in the woods, he said that one time he was walking there when he was actually cruising, and he saw a very bright flash. We don't know what that is (we thought it could be the light from an airplane, but who knows) but we figured out that it may have been a camera, too.

There are plain clothes officers out there too, patrolling. So if you're cruising, or if you're just being with your boyfriend, be careful. Cops are trying to crack down on anything.

Nice place to cruise. Always about ten guys around between 5 pm and 10 pm, weekends Saturday and Sunday all through the day. Hit and miss, lots of Latinos and hookups along the river away from main trails. Jesus, this place is INSANE! I had a four way last evening after 7 pm. But be very careful because undercover cops are ready for busts, even in the late evenings. The undercovers are easy to spot, and they always have a cop car nearby at the small bathroom, the recreation center, or on the trial. So when you see a cop car, just leave.

Also, the homeless are making shelters near the most familiar cruisy spots, and they are very mean. Occasional none cruisers come by. Then there's the wild life. I was nearly sprayed by a skunk a few weeks ago if I kept going on the path.

Be clean. Whenever you leave your used things, you alert the cops, and if you're going to discard things, at least wrap them up with a napkin.

So active and cruisy, it was only a matter of time before cops finally got wind of it. There was a patrol car there today, and obvious undercovers watching the area. Lazy littering guys ruined it, and it is probably going to be hot for awhile, and not in a good way. Shame, too, because I just started getting fucked there by a couple guys on a regular basis. At times this place is so cruisy it is ridiculous. I have been there on a Saturday when the dirt trails by the river had 15 to 20 men walking around, all cruising. I have gotten fucked there a few times, and usually you can have 1 to 4 guys come by and jack off or join in. Sloppy cruisers have littered the trails with condoms, so I am sure this place won't last which is too bad because it can be so much fun.

Be careful. Today I saw a cop car on the designated pavement trail near the recreation center. I saw the car far away when I went to see the roses at the rose garden. This was after I fooled around with the first guy, and I didn't think much about it. We left to his car, but decided to park at the recreation center where the cop car was. And we saw the bicyclist talking with other cops, maybe, by the cop car.

Seems to be busy in the late afternoon right before sunset. Don't bother with the restroom since there's usually no one around. Instead, go across and down towards the river where there is a concrete culvert and if you cross it, you can follow the paths on the riverbank. Lots of secluded places for fun along the river.

This place is the hottest place in San Jose. Exit Taylor off Highway 87. Take a left before Coleman and park in the lot. Walk toward the freeway. Go across the stream and into the rough ground. You'll find plenty of action at the end on the left.
