Hi. Writing this in response to the previous post about slow times at this place.

You never know for sure when a place will be busy.* But based on my experience at Variety Video, this shop attracts primarily an afternoon crowd. 2 pm, 3 pm, 4 pm and there's a better chance of finding something good. Evenings, not so much.

*That said, busy is not always good. You sometimes get just what you need when there's only one other customer.

Oh, and here's me getting on my usual soapbox:

Please, guys, submit reviews. It'll make the info here more reliable. When the most recent review is from a decade ago, that gives little clue about current conditions. Plus, regular reviews do more to support these businesses, businesses which seem to be disappearing quickly. I don't know about you, but I hate the apps. I went here two days this week. My first and second time here. Thursday at about 7:45, went inside, paid for an hour, no one there. Lady was nice, but the place was empty with only one car out front (hers). I figured it was late, weekday, etc.

Went the next day, Friday at about 7:00. Only one car in the parking lot (hers), I just didn't want to spend the money, no one was there.

I visit this place once every few months and I love it. Great staff, friendly and welcoming. No stress here. Unusual setup in video area, curtains between booths – so privacy or no privacy as you wish. No guarantees, but I've had some fantastic times here. This is a business very much worth supporting.

I stopped in last Saturday because I saw some cars in the lot. There was a girl working in back, you can "preview" a movie for $10 for 30 minutes or $20 for an hour. I love this place, although it is hit-or-miss. The staff is amazing, very friendly, the booths are comfortable, and easy to see and be seen. I do not know why more guys do not go here. I have had some amazing times here.
