This place is a skanky, skuzzy pit. Having said that, it's a skanky, skuzzy pit full of horny guys. You will usually find at least 5-6 guys, but on some nights and Saturday and Sundays you will find more. Guys there are horny and looking for sex. Looks run the gamut with average being the norm. More likely to find oral over anal, but have seen both.

Great place to go if you're horny. Don't go if you're into pretty or pristine.

Free parking if you've driven.

The place was awesome! Got sucked by four Black men. There were about 20 dudes there when I went one cool Thursday night with a friend of mine. Just went to check the place out the other day. The crowd, mostly Black, had a nice vibe and the staff was incredibly friendly. However, I was surprised that everyone enters and just walks around, right off the street fully dressed. You feel like you are hanging out in someone's garage. It is not the bath towel and flip flops scene. In fact, the major negative for me (and why I probably won't go back) was the general lack of hygiene issues. The steam room didn't work and had a horrible poo smell. It also didn't seem that the showers worked either. It isn't my scene, but if you are into sex in the dark corners and via gloryholes, this is your five star place.

I stopped in here for the first time today. The previous reviews helped paint a picture. It was almost surprising that the descriptions were accurate. When you first enter there is a tremendous amount of dumb artwork, some weights and benches about (pretending to be a real gym?), some living room-like settings, a kitchenette? In so many ways it was bizarre, but I was on a mission to check it out.

Make sure you give your eyes plenty of time to adjust because when you find yourself in a dark area, it is incredibly dark. I bumped right into a guy and probably nearly knocked him over. The crowd was a mix of black, white, and Asian, guys were cruising and no one was rude about it. I sucked 3 different guys and enjoyed swallowing each of them.

Yes, there are 40 something gloryhole booths, and several other very dark places to play. Bring your cell if you need to light up the area to see. The only other thing to know is it was quite warm in there. I had a blast, but was sweating quite a bit as some areas do not seem to be well ventilated.

This place rocks. This is THE place for gloryhole lovers. These are the only gloryholes in the DC/Baltimore area where you don't need to put coins in a machine every few minutes. One flat fee and you can stay for hours. Forty eight booths were installed and this place is now hopping. Prior to that, there were no booths and the place wasn't busy.

This is a huge facility because it's in an old warehouse. It is sort of a gloryhole place and bathhouse combined. Overall, the interior and furnishings are a bit tattered, but who cares? There is a shower and steamroom area. I haven't seen many guys in this area, and probably because it smelled like mildew. There are no private rooms, but there are four small rooms with locking doors.

There is an outdoor patio which is fairly nice. There is a nice roof deck and I saw lots of action on the roof during the summer. There are several lounge areas with comfortable couches inside. They play pretty good dance/club music from satellite radio. The lounge near the front door has a dining table and TV. I've seen people eating a sandwich and catching up on the news. There is a video room with a new flat screen playing porn all the time. There are many dark nooks and crannies where guys play and other guys watch them.

I've been here about ten times, and the busiest times are, not surprisingly, Friday night, Saturday afternoon, Saturday night, and Sunday afternoon. On Friday and Saturday nights, it doesn't get real busy until midnight, but a lot of guys would like to see it busy at 9 pm. So let's start arriving earlier and create a crowd. Demographics during the busy times: about 50% black, about 30% white, about 10% Asian, about 10% Latin. Other reviewers have said the crowd is too Black at times and the black guys won't play with anyone but their own. I don't think this is true, at least during the busy times.

I stopped by this place on a Monday afternoon, but didn't realize you could get a room and towels so I only used a locker. I got naked and walked around. I used to go to the 'old Glory Holes' space on Half and O St, SE during mid to late 90s. The crowd was predominantly white, but men of color attended as well. Lots of mixing of guys and I had great times there. So, I gave the new place another look today to see how the space had changed. Yes, the maze of glory holes are back and there is loft space, but I found no one up there. There is also an outside roof and ground floor patio, but there was no playing, only guys talking on their cell phones or smoking. The hallways are very unlit, so walking around without bumping into guys is difficult.

The crowd is predominantly men of color (that's not a problem for me as I like men of color), and there were a handful of white men like myself. My advances to play were shunned by the men of color to the point of being uncivil; I was frustrated as I am a good-looking guy and lots of fun. It was all a bit unbelievable so I spoke with three other white guys who also felt isolated by the crowd. Like myself, they were not having any fun. Without a doubt, this space is for men of color looking only for men of color. White men are not welcome. A great shame.

Just checked the place out after a long-while, and it is much better than when he first re-opened. I was there on a Wednesday afternoon, paid $10 to get in, and I sucked five cocks in about an hour. Lot's of gloryhole booths (2 floors worth) couches, small private rooms with enough space for two to be "vertical", an old fashioned shower area, steamroom (although not sure it was on when I was there) and the old maze blocks were back, too.

Visited again recently and it has improved a lot. The place is built out with more dark rooms for all kinds of craziness, gloryhole booths, and rooms. It looks like they are building a new balcony area, too. There were a lot of people there and I had a hot time.

OK, I actually joined Cruising for Sex to share with the world what a rip off this place is. To put it in context, I used to go to the old Glorious Health in SE DC. Back then it was known as "Slam Doors" because of the loud slams the doors made when they closed the booths with the gloryholes. Back then, there were two basic play spaces: the booths and the backroom.

There were three aisles of private booths. each of them, depending on location had two or three gloryholes and bench seats which put your head at perfect height to receive the next hot cock. The back room was scattered with tall wooden boxes about 8 feet high that could be moved to create private areas or to create "rooms" for group fun. The bathrooms were gross, the place was seedy, I always put my wallet in my sock because it wasn't exactly the Ritz Carlton crowd. Simply put, it was one of the seediest AND hottest places in DC. Slam Doors, how I miss thee so.

A few years older, but not that many, and horny one recent Saturday evening, thoughts of the old Slam Doors came to mind and I researched the new place and figured, "Eh, I'll give it a try." I went at 1 am on a Saturday, the time that the old place was hopping, filled with at least a few dozen guys. As I drove to the new place and pulled in, I got pretty excited. The parking lot had about 20 cars, so full that the overflow parking was opened. "This is gonna be fun," I thought.

I should have followed my gut as I approached the front doors and left. A full glass entry door area greets you as if it is a supermarket, with huge sliding glass doors opening as you approach. Ahead of you is another window with someone I'd say is "a character." The man, about 65, takes your $20 and asks a bunch of irrelevant questions: Name (make it up), city and such crap (make it all up). He points to the door and presses a buzzer to unlock it so I can enter. "Finally," I thought. Within 60 seconds I knew I had wasted 25 minutes going there, $20 bucks to get in, and the soon to be 25 minutes to get back home.

Where do I begin? This place is kind of like Sybil. Multiple personality disorder to the first degree. Is it a social club? If it is, there are a number of too well lit social areas with dirty sofas and chairs. Almost surreally, there are large hanging punching bags from the ceiling. I wondered to myself, "Are they trying to make an artistic statement here where boxing bags represent chandeliers in a living room?"

Around the large "living room" there are shelves of pottery. And I don't mean 1 or 2 shelves, I mean dozens. The pottery (most of it shitty pottery) is locked behind walls with windows that look like they were contracted. There is also a door that leads to a video room (playspace?) which is also overly lit, the porn sucked and the music was too loud.

On to the next play area -- a vast space, probably 100 feet by 75 feet. What is your preference? Crappy booths with no gloryholes marked "Private Cell Phone Booth"? Silly dividers with slats that seem to be useless? Or do you prefer The Old O Street tall boxes? They are the only decent thing in the place (although the crappy music destroys that fun, too). So, if this isn't enough, I'm 44 and I was the youngest guy in the place.

When I think of the old place, I realize the only thing in common is the name. Save your $20 bucks. They should pay you $20 for having to suffer this mess.

A complete turn off in a less than great part of the city when I was there. The steamroom was locked, no one was roaming around at all and what was with all the pottery for sale?

I went for the first time recently, arriving at 6 am on a Sunday and was amazed to see the parking lot full. Entry was only $10. They ask for and write down your name, but they do not ask for identification. About half the guys seemed to be sleeping, but there was some activity. Lame, lame, lame. Admittedly I went on a Sunday night, but it was completely empty. The space is anything but sexy -- a half-assed attempt to be funky/arty that succeeds at neither, and doesn't have any dark/dangerous sexclub appeal either. They were playing Top 40 commercial radio, for fuck's sake. A thoroughly unpleasant experience. To top it off, I could not get a cab home for love or money. Stay away.

They don't require any ID; just a name (first intial, last name), birthdate, city, state. M. Smith was there last week! Be sure to bring a lock. There are the chicken wire lockers, but there are also metal lockers. It is not clear if you have to rent these, but I put my stuff in a metal locker and had no hassle.

There is a video viewing room, a room with a table (and chess game), a workout room with steamroom, shower, and toilets next to it, and then the maze. You can use the shower, but bring a towel (or rent one, so the sign says).

I was there on a Sunday night. There were always about five or six guys roaming around at a time, but I was the only one having any sort of sex. That old, weird DC vibe prevails: everyone just walking around.

This place is totally different from the place in southeast DC but it has great potential to be as hot. It is in a much safer location with secure off street parking. It is almost surreal that this place also sells antiques and pornographic paintings!

It was good to see the friendly and sexy attendant that remembered me from the old location, as I remembered him. This place is only open 5 months but I know it will catch on for sure. There is nothing wrong with this space. It has to do with the sexual hang-ups of DC guys. There was a similar space in NYC that was half the size and it was packed all the time. DC guys would rather walk around in circles at the Crew Club.

I stopped by this place one afternoon last week. I have been very eager to try this place out, since I believe Crew Club needs some competition so they are encouraged to lower their overpriced membership rates. The staff was very friendly, and there is no membership fee. It cost me $10 to get in, but that was around 2 pm. They have a huge, mostly empty space which is made up of several areas. This place is certainly not pretty, and there is room for improvement. As the previous posting mentioned, the antique displays are a bit strange. The good news is that there was a crew there continuing to do work. They are adding a kitchen for one thing, and I could see that they were also building a series of bunk beds for the play areas. There are also a row of booths (about 5) that can be used to get some privacy, but alas, no glory holes yet. They only have a handful of small lockers, mostly hand-built chicken wire cage style. But if you bring your own lock (like I did) they do not charge you for them. It took me a while to find the steamroom and gang shower, but once I did I grabbed one of the lockers, undressed, and slipped into the steam. I got a blowjob from a nice looking guy in the steamroom. To sum it up, the place is not top of the line, but I think it has a lot of potential once more people start going there.

If you were hoping for something wild like the old club, you will not find it here. It is a very big facility - huge -- but hard to figure out how much sex can go on here, and very few people. Only about 5 closets with doors, no gloryholes at all, and otherwise a lot of empty space. Felt ripped-off.
