I stopped at the boat ramp yesterday. I pulled my truck next to another man in a plumber's van. The man in the van was wearing a pair of shorts, he had them opened up and lowered to his knees. The man was in his mid-40s, had a full beard.

As we chatted, he tugged on himself a few times. He had a great example of untrimmed average man-equipment, with a set of very low hangers. I enjoyed the view very much. Nothing more happened, but it was good bonding for both he and I.

I read about these poor old men getting harassed, then arrested. Can't these cops find something worthwhile to do? Can they look for drug dealers, or thieves, or murderers? These cops set these poor old men up, half of them have Alzheimer's, and throw them in jail for replying to the cop's questions. Such a shame, and all for their quotas.

I've been there a few times, and have never had any man expose themselves to me. Never!

More police undercover action here resulted in charges for two elderly men in early June. Names, ages, and hometowns were published in local media.

The Polk County Sheriff's Office again had an undercover officer arrest a man here for exposure and solicitation. His name, photo, and hometown were publicized in local media. The undercover operation was here and also at Saddle Creek Park. Both are frequent targets of undercover stings.

Says Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd, "Make no mistake, you will be arrested for this in Polk County. We will not tolerate this illegal activity at our local parks and boat ramps."

The Polk County Sheriff's Office conducted another undercover operation here March 26 "in response to complaints of lewd activity." Two men were arrested. Their names, ages, hometowns, and photos were published in local media.

Says Sheriff Grady Judd, "It's disturbing how each time we show up at this boat ramp, almost immediately we encounter a suspect or suspects who expose themselves to, and solicit, our undercover detectives. Make no mistake – you will be arrested for this in Polk County. We will not tolerate this illegal activity at our local parks and boat ramps."

Just be careful, and be able to put your junk away quickly. Cops always watch this place so to put a notch in their size 42 belts for another arrest. It's easier for them to harass innocent grown men than to go after real bad guys.

Many mature men go here not to fish, but just for male comradery. There is nothing wrong with men speaking to each other in a park, after all we pay taxes for this park. Then the deputy sheriff or fish and game boy comes along and harasses us for doing nothing wrong. Such a shame the police don't go after criminals instead.

The Polk County Sherrif's Office arrested two men here March 10 responding to citizen complaints about "lewd activity."

This included an 83-year-old man charged with "Offering to Engage in Lewdness" and "respassing in County Park After Warning." previously charged in 2014. The other man, 51 and married, was charged with "Indecent Exposure, and issued a permanent trespass from all Polk County parks."

This is a nice place, so please keep it clean. The old men that frequent this place are a friendly lot. Most of these old men are just looking for others to talk to, and not looking for sex at all.

I've stopped here a few times while passing through, and have never seen anything sexual. If you're looking to take a break, this is a nice place to do so.

The county sheriff's office conducted undercover operations at four locations Tuesday, August 4. Four men were arrested, including two here at the Lake Fannie Boat Ramp and two at Gator Creek Reserve. Names were published in the local newspaper. Although none were arrested at Saddle River Park and Mosaic Peace River Park, warnings are being added there with links to this news report.
