Heads Up!

The hurricanes cleared the dunes and most of the brush, so the north end is much more open. Police are once again patrolling the area and questioning why men are there.

Subject: Undercover Heads Up!

An undercover sting is scheduled through August/September 2016. Too many complaints from residents (locals).

Thanks! I did a quick Google News search and didn't actually find anything about arrests, only this intriguing headline: Top story at North Lido was once on lack of tops. However, it wasn't at all what I hoped it might be. ;-)

Subject: North Lido

Go up to the north part of the beach. Guys will be sunbathing in the dunes or on the beach, often naked in the dunes.

Most action takes place in the wooded nature preserve behind the dunes although many trees have been removed in recent years.

I met my boyfriend here and it's a great, friendly place.

It is a very cruisy beach, no doubt. Head to the wooded area behind the beach where you can see tons of action.

Heads Up!

The woods may still be here but so are the Sarasota police. On the first Sunday of August, a police car was at the main entrance to the woods early in the morning. They didn't bother me since I was alone, but they clearly wanted me to know they were watching my every move. Watch out!

This is one of the best outdoor cruising areas I've ever been to! I hooked up twice the first day. I went back three more times that week and never left unsatisfied. It gets a mix of guys so there's something for everyone. This place is good day or night. Follow the paths into the woods during the day. At night, stay on the path that goes over the dunes. I saw cops once so be careful.

Big bust this week when undercovers walked around the trails, arresting guys and making their presence known after it was cleared out. This has been happening more and more lately, but this was publicized heavily after the raid.
