Report	Posted Jul 08 2008: Heads Up! I went by this place on the way to a friend's house and saw police patrolling these woods. The cop went from one park and crossed the street to the other park. I'd say this is a place to avoid.

After a long period of calm, there has been a serious police presence here lately, ranging from busts to harassment -- such as park district police with flashing lights stopping people in very visible areas of the parking lot for no reason other than to make a point.

He then went to the trunk and pulled out a long sleeved light brown jacket, put on over his 'cop shirt', and promptly headed back into the woods. The brown jacket and dark trousers made him look like a cruiser, not a cop, so be careful! I promptly left the park so don't know if he got anyone or not.

This guy was given a ticket, had to go to court and he said there were seventy men called up for the same offense. He said the guy who busted him appeared to be jacking off and when he approached this man he pulled a chain with a badge from under his shirt and wrote this guy up.
