It's baaaaaack! I had a hot session with a couple of guys. It's nice because it's not too busy but you do have to be a little cautious. Plus Groupon makes it the same as crystal's price. If you want more intimate, this place rocks!

This place is the best! I know it's not a gay sauna but it might as well be. Hard dicks everywhere!

The place is setup for action. Two mirrors on the sauna door so you can see who is coming and they can't see you. Two-way mirror in the "nap" room. I got some great head while watching people walk by!

Again, it's not a gay bathhouse but if you sit around for a little while I'm sure you'll get some action.

Went here twice during my recent visit to Chicago. I have never been here in the past.

Although this may not be advertised for gays, there is plenty of M2M activity. I saw open erections and playing. No trying to hide the playing either. Ages mixed. I happened to get to play with a real nice muscle stud in the steam room on my first trip. Guys friendly and talkative.

The second night I wasn't sure this young guy was interested. So I asked if he'd ever been to the Steamworks, knowing if he answered yes, then he was gay. Indeed, he answered yes and our playing began. We had an awesome and amazing time as we were the only two in the sauna.

BTW, there are one way mirrors on the doors of saunas. Inside, you can see out and nobody on the outside can see in. Therefore you can watch other guys play. Just saying.

This place reopened and it is extremely dated. I wondered what it looked like before but I didn't see much improvement at all. The chairs were plastic and the sleeping areas were very dark and not very well kept.

The saunas, however, were very hot and the steam rooms were quite cruisy and there is just lots of sucking and more sucking in both the dry and wet saunas. Not a very attractive crowd but everyone are here for sex. Nasty and dirty so I will probably not come back.

Visited on a Monday afternoon. First of all, if you want to feel pretty, definitely stop by. Lots of average, older and some downright fat and ugly guys. The bath area is a large room with three pools (a jacuzzi, a hot soaking pool and a cold soaking pool) as well as exposed showers and a table for massages. Off the main bath area are both a sauna with a separate extra hot space and a steamroom. If you are looking for privacy, don't expect it, as there is none. Any action happens in one of the above mentioned spots and because management has posted signs that sex is not tolerated, everyone seems to walk around dying to hook up but never really knowing how. There is definitely action to be had in the steam and sauna rooms, but if its crowded no one seems wanting to initiate and then, as is typical with those scenes, you get too hot and have to leave. Overall,I 'd say if you are into the public scene and nudity in general you would like this place.

Today was my first time here after reading the review. I had never been to a sauna and this was a great experience. Nice place, not the cleanest, but clean enough. I arrived at 9:15 pm so only had 45 minutes to enjoy. In 30 minutes I got jacked by an attractive thick black bear and he shot a huge load. Then in the sauna I sucked a nice white dick on a attractive late 30s, early 40s hottie who shot with so much force. I cleaned up and headed home. Good times! I will be back for sure.

Recently and on more than one occasion I've seen the owner making someone leave. One time a patron walked in on some guy beating it and had him evicted and was making a lot of noise about it. I agree this isn't the place for that and I was embarrassed for the guy. It really is a legit place and the owners are getting very observant. Better off at one of the designated gay bathhouses.

Seeing a few guys totally naked is not that big of a deal. You'll see this in any gym. Although this can be a good place to work up a sweat, don't believe the stories of wild times. Old, shy guys who don't own a DVD player might like it as it's the only way they can see a torso. But if you go to a gym like Bally's, you'll find the scene here dull.

I've been here many, many times and every time someone has tried to start something. Granted, it's not always possible, but usually there is always enough time and privacy for a good handjob or blowjob. Yes, lots of Koreans and Slavic guys go to this place, but I'm as White as they come and have never had a problem. In fact, everyone is usually very friendly; just play it cool. If you are not Korean of Russian, don't go! This place is clearly an expatriot social venue. I went and felt totally awkward because I was both alone and not from the culture. One Asian guy even asked me why I was there. The owner was everywhere. And that was a weekday. I won't go back.

This is not a sex club or place. I am a member and regular cruiser. This is not a place for sex. However, you can see some very good-looking men totally naked--no clothes are allowed. It is one of the most homoerotic experiences of my fifty-year-old life. As for sex, forget it. It's possible to get a quick handjob and maybe a blowjob in the very hot steamroom, but you would have to very careful as the management walks all over. I have seem some action in the steamroom but not full blown sex.

My experience was exactly the opposite. I went there because I have a skin condition that benefits from sauna heat and my gym doesn't have one. Yes, there were Korean and Slavic types there, but if your idea of a hot locker room is changing clothes next to a Mao look-alike then go for it. And a couple of times there were gay dudes obviously cruising and the Mr. Mao seemed very agitated. Yeah, I got stared at because there is clearly a cultural gap here that doesn't seem to welcome cruising. Go figure. I'd say for the purpose of this site, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. This place is hot, but it is far from h-o-t.
