The park is closed.

The park still is on the City of Anderson web site and there is a newspaper story indicating it is closed temporarily for levee construction: http://www.heraldbulletin.com/edit...Park-will-be-good-for-city Perhaps the construction and re-opening is delayed. I'll mark this for future deletion if we receive another review about it being permanently closed. Typically we keep closed places online for a year or so just to be sure and also to let people know that they are closed. Thanks! ~ Editor

Take notice of the other cars around you back into the park places with windows down. If you're interested in getting some, you need to park this way so others know that you are willing.

The park is loaded with college guys from Anderson University. Most come out one hour before dark.

They have rebuilt the restroom and concession area here and the toilet is huge with 2 big stalls. The door is noisy and you have to turn and walk down a short hall after entering prior to getting to stall area. I went there last Saturday and got sucked by one guy and fucked another without a single person coming in.
