Went there today and the lady working at the front desk told me the arcade is permanently closed.

I was there a couple of weeks ago and the place has changed a lot. They moved the cashier's desk to where she can monitor the booths and she yelled at us to get into a booth and start dropping tokens or she would clear the place out.

I have been going there for many years and she has worked there quite a while and always been very nice so I was astounded. I'm not sure what is going on but I will try it some evening and see if the help is any nicer. If not, that's it for me.

Have been to this bookstore many times. Sometimes I get lucky and sometimes it is a waste of time. Most are looking for college age guys. One of the things that bothers me is the fact that if you are there to cruise, please stay off your telephone. Use it someplace else. get involved, and quit being a prima donna.

The booths are old and the volume knobs are broken. Most only have two settings, silent and very, very loud.

If you turn on the sound, the new clerk will threaten to kick you out. Tried pointing out the issue and suggesting they just remove all the volume knobs (and that no other clerk has ever had this issue). I saw at least one poor soul get so spooked he left as soon as someone turned on the sound in their booth.
