Go there every other week. I went a few weeks and going July 27 so today lol just packed up my things to enjoy a day out in the sun and maybe fun. lol

I have not seen any up to date postings on this site about Cummington and the nude beach area. The last posting was back in 2017. Has anyone gone since?

I see a 4-star rating from November 2018. It would help if more cruisers who rate places would also take a moment to write something. Just a sentence or two helps! ~ Editor

This place is still open, every summer, and it's a fine place. I will upload a photo of the correct parking area next week. There is also a paid "private" parking area, five dollars per car.

I was literally there yesterday, sucked off two men and watched a bunch of couples fuck, which I love. The scene on a Sunday is mostly older, but if the weather is right? It's perfect.

How to get there: Park in the small parking area covered in trees, not the large one that says thirty minutes only, and walk along the road until you get to a yellow road sign. Climb over the rail, and go down to the water. Cross the river and go to up to the path. Take a left to walk following the river downstream. You will reach a stone wall (lol very on the nose). Follow that stone wall and the path, and you will reach the beach in ten minutes or so.

Important: The locals are fine with gay folks in their town visiting this area. However, do not get naked within sight of the road, because you'll get arrested. Don't park like an idiot, or you will be towed. Don't leave trash around, or they will slam you with littering charges. Be smart about how you behave, in general, and everything will be fine.

Heads Up!

A guy got beat up by the cops here the other week. Travel in numbers and be sure you ford the river on the farther (west) side of the rock wall, as the other side is protected and private. Heed the no trespassing signs.

During the summer I go there a lot. Being from Pittsfield it's not that far of a drive. Had oral sex a lot and anal on occasion, and besides that I got a tan (even had time for that!). Great place. Too bad it's not warm all year around.

The parking area is now closed to thwart activity and they will tow you. Park about a mile past the entrance and walk up. Just note: there are lots of old straight men (locals) looking for a quick hum-job.

A beautiful, safe place to meet nice guys (if not always the hottest). Sometimes guys follow you around when you don't want them to so you have to tell them to leave you alone. Besides that it's a great place to get naked with some buds on a warm summer day.

Seeing as one must ford the Westfield River to get there, it's not for the faint of heart. Some fags had to be bailed out by local authorities after getting trapped on the wrong side after a storm last year! That inconvenience, however, keeps actual law enforcement presence (beyond parking areas) to a minimum. The glory days of the spot, like Lake Whittingham in Vermont, are definitely in the past.

Closed. As of April there has been a lot of vandalism, smashed windows and tire slashings, and the lots are off-limits to unattended vehicles. You'll get towed! It's a big hassle since there's not much around in the way of businesses or assistance. There's also an increase in rednecks and stupid teenage townies harassing people. Stay away.

The police are not towing cars unless you park in the road. The river is busy as ever and a great place to cruise. Also, just a beautiful place to hang out.

This place is still very active. I have been here several times this year and there is always a lot of guys there. The police only tow your vehicle if you park in the first lot or if you park past the line on the ground at the second lot. The third lot is totally ok, but it is a far hike. that I have been there this year both lots were full.

This beach isn't what it used to be. It's hard to get parking, and not much of anyone there. There's a good nature walk though, and you might meet a bear on the trail, both faux and real.
