This place is now closed forever. It's been discussed on another cruising site, and links were posted to a real estate site that showed the interior all gutted and the building up for sale.

Subject: Escape Book Store
Must buy $3.00 worth of tokens for entry. Sign indicates they refund unused tokens but I was too shy to ask. This place is tiny! Everyone just stands crowded together. Older men, one was pretty hot but he seemed to want only overweight African Americans. Definitely did not want me, lol. Elderly man would not get out of one of maybe six booths, hoping for the best: It didn't happen. Black queen talking to attendant said things loudly like "Ain't nobody back there I want to taste!" Not too good to hang around dumpy book store but too good for the clientele? Ha. Stand down, wierdo. Will probably not go back for a few months.
