The owners of the business are proposing to open a cannabis store in this location and moving Another World into a location next door which is currently being renovated.

Albany Times-Union, August 7 2024: In Schenectady, pot shop would move into adult book store

The plexiglass has been removed from two pairs of the smaller booths.

The store has cameras, but only in the retail area and the parking areas. None is the booth area.

Minimum token purchase is now $5, for 5 coins, rather than 2. Still the most time per dollar in the area.

The booth area is cleaned better than at the old location on Erie Blvd, three or four times a week vs. only once.

Mixed crowd, can be dead for extended periods, never can predict.

This place used to be good for a hassle-free good time, but the 900-pound guy behind the desk hassles people to get in a booth, etc. The video cameras are also very suspicious. I won't be going back.

Store has relocated from downtown to Lower Broadway. Store is clean and now has a better selection of toys, DVD's, and novelties. Staff is friendly and helpful, especially the younger woman at the counter. Booths take tokens and most have "buddy windows". The offering of videos is better than it was at the old location. Booths are clean at the beginning of the day and typically get dirtier as the day progresses; cum on the floor, used condoms, soiled paper towels, poppers, etc. "Movie Room" area is frequented by the usual trolls, but the occasional "straight" married guy does stop for his fix of M/M contact. Most doors still do have working latches/locks for those looking for solo or private play. Management has recently installed surveillance cameras near the video booths, which is a big privacy problem for those looking for discretion or anonymity.

Had a hot time last Thursday. Store is nice and clean, so clean that I had no qualms fucking a nice looking guy right on the floor.

Super sterile environment, and way too bright. How hard is it to make a decent adult bookstore?

This is the new location of the store that used to be on Erie Blvd. It opened here last week.
