The rest area is temporarily closed for rebuilding and may be renamed Adirondack Welcome Center. It may reopen in Fall, 2018.

I went here last year and intend to go again. There are peepholes drilled between the stalls and between the front stall and urinal.

Why hasn't anyone drilled a gloryhole here yet? Just drill it and tape a paper over it or something so it'll take longer to be plugged.

A friend of mine carries a Sharpie with him to make amusing edits to standard restroom signage. Perhaps someone should carry a drill. Just a thought. ~ Editor

I was at the rest area on the north bound side the other day and got sucked off in the bathroom, but other times it seems kind of quiet.

This place is very cruisy on both the south and northbound sides. It's hot. There's a good mix of ages, and some skinny, medium, or larger guys.

I got sucked off on both sides here. There's a lot of action, but beware of the attendent. I have seen the State Troopers about, too.

Heads Up!
This place is still cruisy but you need to be careful! A new fence has been installed, prohibiting going into the woods. They also installed more lights and have a full time attendant. Police also patrol through.

I see a lot of guys here, but to many of them are shy. State boys also cruise through a few times a night, so it's better if you hook up and take it elsewhere.

They've installed new lighting and it's so bright that the astronauts in the International Space Station should be able to see the parking lot. The only upside to this is you can now see the guys who never get out of their cars.

A chainlink fence has been installed the full length of the rest area, effectively cutting off all access to the woods, which were the main site of action. There may be some car cruising, but you'll have to take it elsewhere to get down.
