Apparently this place will be closing at some point. They have a "Store Closing - Everything Must Go" sign in the window and there is a real estate sign on the building advertising warehouse space for rent.

Paradise is open for business, only until 10 pm each night. JR DVD across the street seems to have similar hours.

I went last Saturday at about 9:30 at night, and about twenty guys were trying to get their rocks off before the place closed. It was a good busy time. Everyone tended to wear their masks over their mouth and nose, except presumably when using their mouth for activity other than breathing. I made sure to bring a small spray bottle of alcohol to spray the booth door knobs, video controls, air, and gloryholes.

The previous review that suggested booths be hidden in the basement somehow ignores how discreet the current spatial layout already is. No one on the retail floor can even see the booths which are hidden in the back of the store. Seldom is anyone shopping there anyway. Advice: Develop more confidence in yourself.

Attendance is slightly down given the pandemic. I have observed extensive booth cleaning, including the gloryhole walls, which is reassuring. I've been bringing a small bottle of alcohol to spray the booth interiors, gloryholes, video controls, door locks, etc. The patrons tend to wear their masks appropriately. There is no new ventilation system or stationary fans, which would be a cheap way to circulate the air that probably is perpetually stagnant. There are plenty of reminders about mask-wearing and physical distancing. The signs and extra cleaning seem to show the workers value our health.

Honestly, they should put the booths in the basement away from people who actually come to buy things. It could be more private for example if a younger DL teen wants to go but doesn't want other people to see him so he can suck cock or get his cock sucked.

I finally checked this place out now that it's re-opened. My description updates and clarifies older comments.

It's a big sprawling Exotica emporium with plenty of lingerie, dildos, and other toys, but no customers except for us horn-dogs in the video booth section. When you enter the store, there's a sign and beaded curtain leading to the booths. The first section: two rows of booths. Booths 13 and 14 on the left have no holes and are labeled "Private". The last two on that side have a connecting, roundish gloryhole.

The row of four booths, 17 through 20, all have a hole between them. This booth section of the store is in a large dimly-lit area which allows one to walk around a bit compared to, say, Video City ten blocks south of this location.

Walking toward the "back" portion, you pass by a pair of "private" booths. All the way in the back are the "buddy booths" with apparently non-working glass privacy blinds, and a very wide slot that's only suitable for a small member and maybe a hand. All of the booths have good quality working screens and ton of videos to choose from, in all genres.

The monitoring was reasonable and friendly for the most part, and there are times when the monitoring is sparse, and you do in fact get almost four minutes of viewing time per dollar.

The downside to this whole layout is the lack of viable gloryholes in the buddy booth area. And if the two "middle" gloryhole booths in the main area, 18 and 19, are occupied, that only leaves one pair of booths that's viable for play, which is the pair on the right, 15 and 16.

On my first visit I got lucky. I'm versatile but really wanted to suck some cock through a gloryhole. I went into a booth, the other "bottom" regulars checked me out hoping I was a top, and before you know it, my newest neighbor was sporting a nice hard-on and pointing it at the hole. So I offered encouragement with my open mouth and wet lips and had some fun.

My most recent visit was less fruitful, as booths 18 and 19 were occupied the entire time I was there, and customers started drifting away since the situation was not resolving anytime soon.

If I were the owners I would re-add gloryholes between the first few booths on the left, keep the two solo "private" booths in the middle intact, make some of the buddy booths private, and add a "real" gloryhole to the other old-school buddy booths.

And there is a working bathroom near the main cashier station, which regular customers can use, "OUT OF ORDER" signage notwithstanding.

Paradise is open 24 hours a day again despite the sign showing they have shorter hours. The sign with the hours is still up, so it is a little confusing. I have been here all hours of the night to see it open still.

Busiest times are evenings and into the night, until about 2 am weekdays. After 3 am on weekends, it slows down considerably. Saturday afternoons are really busy with up to fifteen or twenty guys.

So I just went to this place on Saturday, and the times of operation are now as follows: Monday - Friday: 10 am - 2 am; Saturday & Sunday: 12 pm - 10 pm.

I don't know why they changed the hours again, but they did.

Side note, I had a wonderful time. This place is far from Queens so I don't go too often, but when I do, I always have a great time.

As of November this year, Paradise no longer is open 24 hours a day. New hours: 10 AM - 2 am M-F, 12 PM - 12 am Sat/Sun.

I came by around 2 am on a Saturday night, and their early closing did not result in more traffic at the smaller video store across the street; only one or two guys were there. No one else came in for half an hour. So, get your nut early.

I've been here three times in the past two months and will probably increase my visits! So hot here. First time had about three hot cocks to suck. I was here for the first time a couple of days ago. It was a weekday about 7 pm, and it was packed. I've never been to a place like this, but it was great.

I was there for about five minutes when I went into a booth and someone walked in with me. We weren't a match, both bottoms, so I walked out and walked into another booth and another guy followed me in and it was great.

Paradise still has horny guys pumping through to play with you, or stand around ignoring you. Busy times even on weeknights is evenings into night, up to about 1 am. I’ve not been here much during the day to develop a composite timetable of how busy it is, but it never has been empty.

What is advantageous is that it is located on industrial Third Avenue, beneath the Brooklyn Queens Expressway highway, so guys are driving in from many non-nearby locations — Queens, Staten Island, Jersey, etc — and parking is easy to find. The lack of pedestrian traffic and other open stores gives the area an aura of risk, but also potential for sleaze and privacy the way the old West Side Highway piers did. I’ve had lots of sucking and fucking action here, and it seems like it has gotten busier in the past year.

Paradise has a good spread-out layout, with ten booths in the back, two private booths off the side of the main hallway where the 179 videos playing are on display and appear to be the same boxes year after year. Tip: the Black Gay porn shows on channels 20 - 30. There are eight booths up front which feature round gloryholes with notches cut out at the tops for noses to fit into. It’s thoughtful. The booths in the back have wide low slots that are about 2.5” high. None of the shades in between the booth walls lift up, unlike genuine buddy booths elsewhere. That doesn’t matter much here since more than one person can go in a booth without being hassled.

The worker directing patrons to “put da money” is mild and doesn’t harass anyone. Sometimes he is more active in the booth area, and other times you can carry on without spending too much money on watching videos because he is busy watching bad TV dramas loudly in the front of the store. Do keep your ears open and don’t abuse the opportunities to not pay or partner up in a booth because you don’t want to get kicked out for failing to comply with the rules.

Because the layout is spacious, you’re not all standing in the same narrow corridor between one side of booths and the other, staring at each other, and can walk about the space, from one slightly darker row of booths to a more brightly lit area. This allows you to get a better look at people and stretch your legs while waiting for a hot trick to come in.

While not as exciting and promising as the Change song of the same name, Paradise is the best anonymous sex spot Brooklyn has. It isn't the only one in Sunset Park, but it's the only worthwhile one.

The store is cavernous and has a bathroom up front. There are three sets of booths and a few cameras so the workers can keep an eye on activity from the register. There are blind spots though, which can be advantageous for flashers. The workers generally are reasonable and leave the cruisers alone. As a veteran whore, I highly recommend Paradise for everyone who needs a break from the time-consuming tedium of online hookup apps and web sites.

At Paradise, enough guys of all types come and go so that you can find a few hot encounters in an hour or two. The clientele can be friendly and social, which can take the edge off. Don't be scared of talking to anyone. The demographics are from late twenties and up, all ethnicities and scenes.

Occasionally a busted drag queen or trans hooker with enough realness for the neighborhood standards comes in, sort of like they do at the Fair Theatre in Queens, and try to hustle an old man or get a thrill from a younger guy before giving up and leaving. That sort of relaxed atmosphere helps take the pressure off from trying to find a guy to groove with.

It's been many years since I was here. They've expanded and remodeled. It still has a semi-grungy feel to it. But at 3:30 pm yesterday on a Saturday it certainly was buzzing with cruisy curious horn dogs.

This place is usually pretty good early mornings. I prefer the more DL guys than the out ones that storm around and talk about how many str8 guys they've sucked off. There is this one guy however that parks outside for hours on end and acts like a guardian to the booths. There is also a homeless man who comes in from time to time. I've had some pretty hot times in here but the biggest issue is they now have extremely bright lights on in the back where it used to be dark.

Relative to the other area video booth spots, this is the best of the lot. The key word is "relative" because it isn't much to speak of. The place is large, and the video booths are on the left in the back. There are three sets of booths with cameras in the hallways, so keep your business inside the booths or out of sight of the cams. I would not bother with the other palaces further down Third Avenue into the 30s at all. I've been here late at night after 11, and it is hit or miss, but feels mostly miss. Oh well.

The mix of people reflect the neighborhood: Caribbean Latinos and South Americans, African and European Americans. The appearances are mostly average, but occasionally there are a few hot guys. Age ranges too, as does cultural expression: hipsters, hip-hopsters, a derelict guy who might be hustling, fat old average working class men, young kids with time to kill, some of them drunk or high, and a tall transwoman hustler who is a regular.

This is also a social scene, so if you see a couple of the young guys talking to each other, it isn't that they are hustling. They are just buddy booth buddies. The older guys (30 and up, way up) are the left overs who likely haven't adapted the culture of internet hook-up sites because they aren't very marketable (i.e., "sexy"). Likewise, they probably are not permitted into the many private sex parties that have strict door policies based on how good and fit a dude is.

The guys will go back and forth between Paradise and Video Xcitement diagonally across the street. VE is tiny by comparison and has bigger booths that better accommodate more than 1 person. There is no real street activity, sexual or otherwise since the area is so industrial and shut down at night, so be safe walking around at night.

Neither venue has a worker who seriously hounds the cruisers to spend money in the booths. The workers show up infrequently and at Paradise, one of the guys seems gay and chats up a few of the regulars.

Hello. It's the TheCruViewer here with another update on this location: Paradise Video located at 761 3rd Avenue (corner of 25th Street) in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, NY.

I went on a recent visit on a brisk September 2013 weeknight around midnight and was surprised to learn that a major re-modeling is going on of the back area and in parts they are also redoing the floor. There is no longer a section of booths to the right ("the alley of booths") and a section to the back. Everything is just "to the back".

Booths # 1-10 (originally straight in the back) are currently "out of service". That is where they are redoing the floor and it is at the moment closed off. As you recall, these first ten booths have the old mail-slot style gloryholes (long and thin). Those with larger and/or thicker cocks have trouble placing their cock through this opening. No word on whether or not they plan on re-doing these booths or if they are going to leave them "as-is". Hopefully, they change them to make the holes larger.

Currently "in service" are the rest of the booths # 11-20. Booth's # 11 & # 12 are straight booths and therefore still have no gloryhole in them. However, between # 11 and # 12 is a peephole (eye-width) so you can somewhat see what is going on in the booth next to you. Booths # 11 and # 12 are placed together in a back row adjacent to the wall of "What's Playing" DVD Covers.

The row in front of that has the remaining booths # 13-20. # 13 & # 14 are still straight booths (no gloryholes or peepholes). # 13 through # 16 make up one row. AND # 17 through # 20 make up another row. They are four booths on the left and four booths on the right (as opposed to when they were in the "alley" setup, then they were all ten (# 11- 20) in a single long row. Not anymore. # 15 and # 16 have gloryholes and therefore the occupants can play with each other.

# 17, # 18, # 19 and # 20 all have gloryholes between them. The newer booth have large enough gloryholes (as shown in the photos below). As you can see in the photos some include a long thinner hole (I don't know why) alongside the standard round hole. However, none of the newer booths # 11-20 have electronic glass partition (EGP) (a.k.a. a window) so that you can raise the electronic curtain and fully see the next person head to toe as they are in their booth. The old mail-slot gloryhole booths # 1-10 DO have these electronic glass partitions despite having small and uncomfortable gloryholes. It is a matter of one's individual preference sometimes you want to see the person you are "playing" with head-to-toe as they are sitting in their booth AND sometimes you do not. Also, just because a booth you are in has an electronic glass partition does not mean you have to use it. If you do not want to see the person fully, you can just use the gloryhole itself and that is that. Some people would prefer to have the option though, newer large round holes AND electronic glass partition.

I back up hornydude's review. The other places in the neighborhood are pretty gross, and not in a good way. The last (and only) time I went into Sunset Video I paid my $10 walked into the back and walked right out again.

It's a hit or miss, weekdays are fine, weekends not so much, pretty empty.

When you walk in there's a row of booths to your right and a few older ones ahead which unfortunately have really uncomfortable mail-slot gloryholes. The rows of the booths are half private and half with gloryholes, which are actually carved into the booths and are more or less okay. Unfortunately there's one employee there on occasion who will kick you out of the booths if you go in with someone else, which leaves you having to use a gloryhole. Here is an update to my earlier description. There are 20 booths (numbered 1-20 obviously). Booths #1-10 are "buddy" booths with the the old mail-slot-type gloryholes. Booths #11-20 are along the right side of the store. Booths #11-14 are simply straight booths. They currently have no gloryholes. Typically straight guys go in here not be bothered by gay/curious guys. In Booth #11 (the first booth in that alley of booths), there are two tiny (for your eyes only) holes drilled in the wall. You can peep on who is in Booth #12. Booths #15-20 all have gloryholes on both left and right side walls except #15 and #20. #15 has only gloryhole on its right wall (cause you are not playing with #14). And #20 is the end of the row of booths, so there is no booth to the right.

Generally, the alley of booths (#15-20) seem to be more comfortable because they have the standard round gloryholes able to fit larger and thicker cocks through them. Booths #1-10, still have the old style mail-slot gloryholes (aka long and thin).

When you walk in, you hang a right and then a left to walk towards the back. In the back, there are booths straight ahead and an "alley" of booths to your right. The booths straight ahead at the very back of the store all still have the old-style mail-slot type gloryholes. Here there are 10 booths: one row of six booths and two sets of double booths. The mail-slot gloryholes can be closed on both sides from either booth user. Many people have claimed that these gloryholes are too "tight" or too "small" for those with large and/or thick cocks. This still remains an issue that management should resolve. if for no other reason then to improve and increase business.

As for the "alley" of booths which is on your right when you approach the back of the store, they all used to be straight. F.Y.I. all screens play a variety of porn (bi, straight, gay, trans). Typically, straight guys who come in to jack off in private do not want to be bothered by gays and therefore find a booth that has no gloryholes and is just that, "a booth." In this "alley" of booths to the right, there are about 16 or so booths, half of which, at the far end, have been converted to include gloryholes. These newly converted booths now have a standard round gloryhole big enough to fit a beer-can-thick cock through it comfortably. Some of them, not all, even have a second additional hole slightly lower than the round hole. This hole is long and thin, kind of like the mail-slot holes, but slightly wider. The converting of some of the "straight" booths to "buddy" booths has I assume opened them up for more foot traffic and more business in the store. hopefully.

It can be a hit or a miss. This store is located at 761 3rd Avenue in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. There is no real name to it, at least on the outside of the building. I have heard it referred to as "Paradise Video" or "Warehouse On The Block". Booths still take dollars, fives and I believe tens as well. Your $1 does not get eaten up by the time as quickly as it does at the store across the street. As long as you feed the machine, the staff here does not bother you.

Also, keep it clean. That is how they stay in business and that is how you are always welcome as a patron. I am in no way connected to the business. I am simply a patron who respects the space and therefore never have a problem with staff. One thing you may want to suggest is that they either add small wastebaskets or one larger trash can just outside the booths. In the store, there appears to be no garbage can within a customer's reach if they want to throw out something or dispose of the mess they may have created.

Also, pay no mind or don't get disturbed by creepy regulars. Everyone may be "thirsty" but some people are too much. Take your gloryhole experience with a grain of salt and if you are not interested in someone simply and politely tell them "NO".

There is a flow of guys who park their car right there under the highway and come in. It can be hit or miss, and I went on a Thursday night around 11:30 pm. It was dead at first, but around midnight I sucked off a cute black guy with a nice sized dick.

Not a bad place at all. Management rarely comes near the booths so two in a booth is okay. If they do it's no biggie because $1 buys you 4 minutes. It's definitely a hit or miss, but really not that big of a miss since you can easily cruise this place for free.

This place is pretty decent with a steady flow of all types of guys of all races and ages. Mail slot style gloryholes between all the booths that you can open or close. The clerks used to be pretty chill, but have been more aggressive recently about putting money in the machines. I've only been during late nights and have found it can get kind of crowded. Mostly blue-collar type guys.

As far as set-up, space, and selection Paradise Video is by far the best place on 3rd Avenue. However, a lot of guys stand around and stalk the booths in the back (the gay booths).
