Heads Up!
Head's Up! Cops are patrolling this area heavily. I have seen cops hiding their cars and watching for cruisers every weekday and some weekends. This has been a really hot and heavy spot but everyone should back off of this location for a while and let the cops think they've chased us all off. Cruising is still good inside Zilker around the bathrooms.

Driven by there a few times and cops have been patrolling the area. Be very careful. They tend to use a back entrance somewhere. Saw some hikers questioned recently.

Be aware that cops walk into woods from a backside entrance. There are trails off the abandoned road that follows the creek bed. Lunch and early evenings are best. I have had some luck there but, usually by-pass this one on my way to Bull Creek.

Heads Up!
Cops on bikes are cracking down on the action in the park at night. They are quite stealthy and one can easily be surprised. We were fortunate to only receive a warning since the police turned on the flashlights too late to witness any real action.

Heads Up!
The last four times I have been there, day or night, there have been
undercover cops 'cruising'. Once when I was driving by, I noticed a worker going into the
woods with a ladder. Later I went back and noticed several small cameras mounted
high in the trees. Almost impossible to see, unless you know where to look. I'll never go
back.

A very cruisy area with dense vegetation and lots of trails, very active. Afternoons are best from 12 pm to 6 pm with a good
mixture of people. The men's restroom near the polo fields is also very cruisy. There is just one urinal and one stall, with a crack in the wall
between the two to watch. Heavier action can take place with gravel around the restroom giving adequate warning of someone approaching.
