Stopped in today to check it out. This spot is actually Overlook Park in Williston, not Essex, as it is south of the river. 118 Essex Rd, Williston, VT 05495.

There is a trail network along the river and bridge, but I skipped that part. Just parked in the car I could bet at least one of the other two were someone cruising.
