Have been to Afton many times, have gotten some good action and given some. Haven't had any hassles. They've taken the visitor center from there.

I've been up there a few times and got fucked. It's safe if you are careful about how you do it. I had a guy top me for almost two hours one night. So it's safe and possible to get laid up there. My pussy was sore that night!

If you know how to 'work it' you would never get busted. 99.9% of the people getting busted are playing out in broad daylight with not a care in the world or they're oversexed trolls who don't understand what the word 'discreet' means. Either way you cut it, if you can't be discreet you deserve to be thrown in jail! In all the years I have been cruising this joint (Ok only eight), I have never seen any young guys getting arrested -- harassed sure, but never arrested. Why? Because were smart!

This place is a 100% free ticket to federal court. Over the past two or three years, hundreds of guys have been arrested by two rangers trying to make a name for themselves. Stay clear is my advice to you all.

I'm surprised that the rangers are busting people up here (or at least attempting to do it). One of them (the dark haired handsome guy-mid thirties or so) is gay and has sucked off several friends of mine. Seems like there is some 'two-facin' going on.

Go to the second overlook on the left hand side of the road. If you go to the third one the Park Rangers usually sit up on the hill (where you can't see them and they will get you). Best times to be up there are between 1 and 3 am.

Fun can be had up here but you need to watch out for the 'hard up' park rangers! I think they are trying to out-do the rangers down in the Roanoke area (who are known to harass people). There is also a new ranger at the Waynesboro location. Watch out, he's a dick! Just don't get caught and you will be fine.

Be careful. I was up there tonight. Even though I was cruising, I am very picky. It seems as though an overweight, older man didn't get to touch me the way he wanted to, so he got pissed. I went to a different scenic overlook on the road, and within five minutes the park rangers were there telling me that my vehicle and tag number had been reported for ‘offering a man a blow job.'

This has to be one of the top five best cruising places in the entire country! At night it's like a different world up there in the mountains. Highly recommended.
