I stopped at Shockwave recently because I was on a road trip for several days and wanted relief. The video booths are clean and up to date. There is no need to talk to anyone; just go in and insert a bill. The doors lock and the lighting dims when the video starts. There are no tissues or wastebasket in the booths.

Some of the males loitering in the video booth area look like the biggest losers in Wisconsin. I just ignored them and walked past. Pathetic losers.

This is by far the best ABS I've ever been to and I've been to a lot of them. Very clean, a great selection on all products. The screens are large, you can fast forward, pause and rewind. It's reasonably priced, too. No gloryholes, but booths are large and clean, there are lots of them and no real supervision. Not real busy, but there were a handful of booths in use. I am sure I will be going back.

Stopped in on an afternoon recently. There were only a few cars in the gravel parking lot, but a 18 wheeler was also parked. This is a new, clean, and well run place. Got some change from the clerk and made my way to the arcade. Two booths were occupied, one with the door ajar. I opened it up to find Mr. Trucker jacking off an impressive tool, and joined him. It's visible from the freeway, just before the exit on your right if you are westbound (i.e. going from Madison to Eau Claire). It is very clean and I have never been hassled by the staff. Easily the cleanest bookstore I've ever been to. The front half of the store is novelties, toys, lingerie, etc. There's a thirty-foot hallway with DVDs and then the arcade: twelve booths with green/red 'occupany lights', three preview booths that require payment up front, and no gloryholes. Booths can fit two but there are signs up regarding a Juneau County statute against having more than one in a booth. There's one hard chair in each. TVs and videos are of exceptional quality. No tokens and no card readers. This is cash in the machine only: $1 for four minutes. The arcade has two large lights over the area and it's like being in the sunshine. No dark corners here. The light in the booth goes off when video is playing. All in all, a clean place but there were only two other guys there at 9 pm on Friday night, about a dozen shopping up front.

I love this place. The staff is really cool and give no problems. The booths are clean and not too big or too small, although there are larger booths in the back. They have a great selection of movies with a fast-forward and rewind button. Just leave your door cracked and someone will come in. The only problem is it can sometimes take a while.
